I don't always use such detailed sketching when drawing hands, but it helps me to keep in mind what shapes are there, so I don't miss any.

A lot of my early hands looked like awkward headless spiders with sausage legs. Oh how I wish I was kidding... :facepalm:
I hope you guys find it useful! Hands can be such an expressive, emotional element in drawing people, so practice a lot and don't give up! :iconyaayplz:
